Tubeology System Released

We have become dealers for the Tubeology system. This is the latest and hottest fishing lure on the market, ideal for fly tyers. We are going to be developing bespoke flies based on this tube fishing system and have seen huge opportunities with this system. Tubeology is available from the end of October and will certainly make the best Sculpin patterns for Brownies and Rainbow, Snake Flies for Sea Trout and Salmon flies.

The team have already shown us their patterns and we are developing our range based on this system. Tubeology is available for Fly Tyers and we will have our own range of tube flies based on this system within the coming months.

Just Released - Bob's Black Magic Range!

Bob is a key member of The Essential Fly Team.  His fly fishing heritage and knowledge is second to none. Thanks to his Father, Bob was introduced to some of the country’s most famous fishermen of the day including  Arthur Oglesby, Hugh Falkus, Peter Mackenzie-Philps and Eric Horsfall Turner to name but a few at a very early age. These experts, and some of the most renown fishermen in the UK, were happy to pass on their knowledge to Bob as a young fisherman.

Bob's Black Magic flies became an essential addition to our range after the competition day at Mulberry Whin on the Chalk Stream. These flies seemed to lift Trout and Grayling with an unerring ability. The ribbing colour seems to add that extra trigger point to these flies. Thanks to his amazing catch on the Team Challenge Day (just to remind you...over 100 grayling, brown trout and rainbow trout in one day including brownies to 6lb!) there was only one choice, produce these flies for our customers! Sandy Does It Again With Blank Buster Spiders

Sandy has been busy at the bench designing new flies and we are delighted to announce his new range of Sandys Blank Buster Spiders.

Using the same techniques and colours as the Blank Buster Buzzers, the most successful fly launched this year Sandy has come up with a true winner for the rivers.

We love these spiders, designed with the traditional sparse north country tradition of fine hackles with Sandy's beautifully crafted ribs and the Blank Buster Hot Spot these are incredible on the rivers.
